Expatriate English-Speaking Church in Gunsan, South Korea

This page is simply here to inform anyone searching the web, that there is an expat, English-speaking church in Gunsan/Kunsan (in the Jeollabukdo province of Korea, not far from Jeonju, Iksan). The church is called Haven Baptist Church and is located by the entrance to the Gunsan Airbase (the US airbase in Gunsan).

There are maybe around 50 people who come regularly, comprised mostly of English teachers, Airbase personnel, and some Koreans. Pastor Stewart has been in Korea for 30 years, and he and his wife, and everyone at the church, are quite friendly. Once a month we have "pot blessing" (pot luck) after church.

The church runs a shuttle on Sunday mornings, so it is possible to be picked up and dropped off if you live in Gunsan.

If you want to know anything more don't hesitate to email us at jm.magnuson@gmail.com.
